The ABC's of Estate Planning: F is for Fiduciary

F is for FIDUCIARY. A person who serves as your Personal Representative (Executor/Executrix) or Trustee will be assuming the responsibilities of a fiduciary. This means that they must act in your best interests at all times and put their own interests or those of anyone else aside. There is no higher duty owed to another person under the law than that of a fiduciary.
